Villa Favolosa B&B is the perfect home base for exploring the beauty, bounty and traditions of Piemonte's Cuneo Province. Often referred to as La Granda, Cuneo is one of the largest provinces in Italy and has a fascinating history filled with glorious art, architecture and traditions.

We are just minutes away from the charming towns of Vicoforte and Mondovì. Also nearby is Cuneo, the beautiful provincial capital and its surrounding green valleys. A leisurely drive of 40 minutes will take you to Alba and the picturesque Bassa Langa - the hilly zone where Barolo wine is produced.

You can hop on the train or drive to Turin in less than an hour and explore Piemonte's exciting capital. The Veneria Reale and more than 40 castles and palaces of the House of Savoia are nearby.

All around us are treasures of Piemontese and Italian culture waiting to be discovered. See our Plan Your Stay page for Itineraries, Day Trips, and lots of ideas about what to do and see while at Villa Favolosa B&B.

Food and Wine are integral parts of Piemontese culture and Cuneo Province is a veritiable eno-gastronomic wonderland. Local products include white truffles, porcini mushrooms, hazelnuts and chestnuts; a myriad of prized Alpine cheeses like Castelmagno, Raschera and Murazzano; and some of Italy's best wines including Barolo, Barbaresco, Barbera and Dolcetto.

With such local bounty it seems only natural that the Slow Food movement was born here in Cuneo Province.

Piemonte is one of the most important wine producing regions in Italy and currently 54 different DOC and DOCG wines are made here.

From Villa Favolosa B&B you can follow the Wine Road over rolling hills and through charming towns and villages from the Langa Monregalese to the Bassa Langa. Visit towns like Barolo, La Morra and Monforte d'Alba and discover the picturesque beauty of the Langhe's wine-country.
